Psihologija stvaralaštva

Psihologija stvaralaštva

Radivoj Kvaščev

The book systematically explores the nature, mechanisms, and factors of creative thinking, analyzing psychological processes, the traits of creative individuals, and methods for fostering creativity in education.

Monograph "Psychology of creativity" by professor and psychologist dr. Radivoja Kvaščeva's is one of the most outstanding and elaborate works in the field of psychology of intelligence and creativity in this area. In it, the author gives a complete theoretical and empirical overview of the phenomenon of creativity, trying to shed light on how original ideas arise and what psychological structures lie behind the creative act. Kvasčev analyzes in detail the stages of the creative process (from preparation and incubation to illumination and verification) and analyzes the key components of creative thinking, such as divergent thinking, flexibility, originality and redefinition. Special emphasis is placed on the relationship between intelligence and creativity, where the author proves that high intelligence in itself is not sufficient for top creativity without the presence of specific personality traits, such as motivation, intellectual curiosity, nonconformism and tolerance for uncertainty. The book also explores the influence of the social and educational environment on the development of creative potential, offering concrete pedagogical and psychological recommendations for recognizing, encouraging and nurturing creativity in children and young people within the school system.
