She is the founder and president of the Osebunjek Association, which is dedicated to preserving the Kajkavian language and the native heritage of the Vrbovec region. Kmukač is a collection of poems written in Vrbovec Kajkavian. The title comes from the word kmukač (a type of frog – Bombina variegata, yellow mukača / red-bellied frog), which in the collection becomes a symbol of memory, homeland, disappearance and duration.
