„Narcis“ ist ein Kultbuch, geschrieben nach dem Vorbild des sogenannten „Prosa in Jeans“. Tatsächlich liefert dieses Buch eine kritische und ironische Darstellung der sozialistischen Jugend jener Zeit. Majetićs Gedichte und Prosa behandeln unterschiedliche Themen und „Narziss“ ist eines seiner berühmtesten Werke.
