This simulated world is inhabited by thirty million artificially created beings ruled by history’s most ruthless tyrants, ideologues, and occultists. Ella Thomas, a young jazz singer and investigator who entered the simulation to rescue the president's daughter, finds herself trapped in this dangerous, computer-generated hell. As spring arrives in Half-World, conflicts between opposing factions and religious sects reach a boiling point. Ella realizes that her former allies have turned into enemies and that the boundary between the virtual and the real is dangerously blurring. The tyrants of Half-World seek to break through the confines of their simulation and extend their dictatorship to the real world. To stop them, Ella must learn to navigate political intrigues, occult threats, and ruthless warfare, finding inner strength before both worlds plunge into total chaos.
