Mursa u svjetlu novih izvora i nove literature

Naučna studija Danice Pinterović donosi nova saznanja o rimskoj Mursi zasnovana na arheološkim nalazima i savremenoj literaturi, dopunjujući dosadašnja saznanja o antičkom Osijeku.

Naučni deo Osiječkog zbornika, br. XI (1967), predstavlja studiju Danice Pinterović Mursa u svetlu novih izvora i nove literature, posvećenu antičkom gradu Mursi, preteči današnjeg Osijeka. Na osnovu novih arheoloških nalaza, epigrafskih izvora i savremene naučne literature, autorka revidira dosadašnja saznanja o razvoju, urbanizmu i istorijskom značaju Murse u rimskom periodu. Rad se bavi položajem grada u sistemu rimske Panonije, njegovom vojnom, administrativnom i ekonomskom ulogom i daje kritički osvrt na dosadašnja istraživanja. Studija predstavlja vredan doprinos hrvatskoj arheologiji i poznavanju antičke istorije istočne Hrvatske.
