Roman je posveta Gradu Vinkovcima jer osim pisama dvoje mladih ljudi, koja su autentična, donosi i novinske tekstove kako su se Vinkovci razvijali 60-ih godina. Isto tako taj ljubavni roman je i posveta građanima Vinkovaca tih godina koji su se i tada borili s ratnom neimaštinom. Draženović je na promociji romana posebno zahvalio Vinkovčanki Anici Hađinac prema čijem liku i životnoj priči je i napisan roman.
